About The Sail Loft at Maritime

This newly built contemporary hideout for two nestles itself behind our Maritime Suites on its own private elevated plot to create a superb little getaway for couples in search of somewhere special to stay in Brixham.

Totally Instagrammable, Sail Loft’s beautifully designed spaces both inside and out really do deliver on style, privacy and comfort, and with sea views and a spacious deck thrown in, you’ll be as happy to hang out at home as you will to be out exploring the delights of the South Devon coast.
Light-drenched and airy thanks to high ceilings and glass doors, you’ll feel a million miles away from a busy schedule. The gorgeous master bedroom boasts a deeply luxurious mattress and cotton linen, so you know you’ll be getting an amazing night’s sleep - and there’s a Smart TV for watching movies if you feel like turning in early. The living room is just as inviting with its sofa and even bigger flat screen TV, and there’s a handy kitchenette equipped for whipping up brekkies and tapas which you can share together in the bijou dining area.

If you do feel the need to venture out, Brixham has a lot to offer. Just a minute’s walk down from your property, the harbour is a lovely place to take in the scenes of moored fishing boats and sea birds, and if you’re an early riser you may be in time to see local trawlers gliding home to the quay to offload their daily catches. A clutch of pretty beaches like Fishcombe and Churston Cove are less than 25 minutes’ walk away but closer still is the white pebble crescent of Breakwater Beach which is an easy 5 minute stroll past the Marina. And there’s more! If you like beautiful scenery with a dose of history alongside, Berry Head is a dream, or for something more tree lined, Churston Woods cuts various paths down to the sea. Brixham has a terrific foodie scene too, with seafood, Italian and gastro pub style restaurants galore, and if you’re partial to a morning coffee, you can grab your freshly brewed flat white or latte from nearby cafes such as Port Espresso and Curious Kitchen (both of which also do a mean breakfast!).

*Please note that this property does not have a cooker or oven, however an airfryer, microwave kettle, toaster as well as a fridge with freezer box are provided
