Porthminster is a beautiful beach lying less than half a mile from the apartment. Here you’ll find golden sand for lazing on and clear water for swimming and water sports. Based right on the beach, Porthminster Cafe is an award-winning restaurant with seating inside and out and is the perfect place for sundowners and seafood. More sandy stretches lie waiting at Bamaluz and Porthmeor, both less than a mile away. Porthmeor is overlooked by Cornwall’s iconic Tate St Ives art gallery too, so if you’re interested in local artists and their work it makes for a fascinating few hours. The popular Porthmeor Beach Cafe is where you can grab a delicious bite to eat after a beach day, and the views over St Ives Bay from here are stunning.
